Thank you for passing the word, and tell him I said hello, will you? You know what Jesus said: "he who is not against us is for us"(paraphrased). Maybe God will lead you to minster to him in such a way that the light of the Word of God will reach his soul, and bring him from death into life. I always liked Jon- just a real goodhearted guy.
