HOW HARD IS IT GETTING SAVED?

According to the sinners prayer
a person can be saved in about 15 seconds
by saying some specially arranged words

Not so!

Not true!!

Getting Saved is the hardest most difficult thing
anyone will ever have to go through in their entire lifetime

Being saved is a lifetime process!!

Just as we are in a lifetime process
of being made into the image of God-

Both are on-going processes!!

Many times people take
individual texts out of the Bible to back this error

If you believe on the Lord you shall be saved
If you call upon the name of the Lord you shall be saved
If you get Baptized in the name of the lord you shall be saved
If you go through Jesus the door you shall be saved
If you receive Grace through Faith you shall be saved

Now, follow me on this

After you have done one, two, or all of the above
are you finally really and truly saved?

Wait, I forgot one more:

1Cor 1:21
For after that in the wisdom of God
the world by wisdom knew not God,
it pleased God
by the foolishness of preaching
to save them that believe

Do you have to do all the above
and then on top of that-

Listen to the foolishness of my preaching
to finally reach that status of being saved?

My friends the one and only
evidence that you are truly saved-

will be when you come forth
at the first resurrection

John 6:39
And this is the Father's will which hath sent me,
that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing,
but should raise it up again AT THE LAST DAY

John 6:40
And this is the will of him that sent me,
that every one which seeth the Son,
and believeth on him, may have everlasting life:
and I will raise him up AT THE LAST DAY

John 6:44
No man can come to me,
except the Father which hath sent me draw him:
and I will raise him up AT THE LAST DAY

John 6:54
Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood,
hath eternal life; and I will raise him up AT THE LAST DAY

John 11:24
Martha saith unto him,
I know that he shall rise again
in the resurrection AT THE LAST DAY

We are in the on-going process
of being saved and made into the image of God

The completion of this process
will not take place until you rise
at the first resurrection-

AT THE LAST DAY!!

Mat 24:13
But he that shall endure
UNTO THE END, the same shall be SAVED

God has a perfect purpose and a plan
and he will accomplish his "WILL" ...which is:

1Tim 2:4
Who will (eventually)have ALL men to be saved,
and to (eventually) come unto the knowledge of the truth

You can not take the next verse
and make a teaching of it alone
as no scripture is of private
or ones own interpretation

The scripture following it;
will explain the true meaning of the first verse
that so many people quickly use to defend
their salvation as being an already done deal

Rom 10:13
For whosoever shall call upon
the name of the Lord shall be saved

Luke 6:46
And why call ye me, Lord, Lord,
and do not the things which I say?

In other words:

If you are going to

call on me- the Lord

and- call me Lord

then- YOU'VE GOT YO DO WHAT I SAY!!

　
You have to believe on the Son
and the TESTIMONY that God gave to his Son

1Jonn 5:9
If we receive the witness of men,
the witness of God is greater:
for this is the witness of God
which he hath TESTIFIED of his Son

1John 5:10
He that believeth on the Son of God
hath the witness in himself:
he that believeth not God hath made him a liar;
because he believeth not
THE RECORD THAT GOD GAVE HIS SON

1John 5:11
And THIS IS THE RECORD, that God
hath given to us eternal life,
and this life is in his Son

1John 5:12
He that hath the Son hath life;
and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life

1John 5:13
These things have I written unto you
that believe on the name of the Son of God;
that ye may know that ye have eternal life,
and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God

So you must-

Believe in and call
upon the name of the Lord

Do the things he says

Believe on the TESTIMONY
God gave of his Son

　
What is the TESTIMONY
that GOD GAVE TO HIS SON?

Rev 1:1
The Revelation of Jesus Christ,
which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants
things which must shortly come to pass;
and he sent and signified it by his angel
unto his servant John:

Rev 1:2

Who bare RECORD of the word of God,
and of the TESTIMONY of Jesus Christ,

There it is!!

The TESTIMONY that God gave to his Son
is the Book of Revelations

It's no wonder that we are sternly warned
that no one is to add or take away from this book
