REPENTANCE ... as I see it

When the sun is shining-
there is light and it is warm and dry

When the sun goes down
it gets darker, colder
and towards the morning
the earth become damp with dew

Would it then;
be true to say:

The sun is the cause
of darkness cold and dampness?

This may sound right-
but it is not correct

The sun did not cause these things

These thing are automatically there

It is when the sun comes up;
that these things are taken away

Those things were already there
and it is the sun which takes them away

Likewise...

When God removes
his beams of light from mankind
they become dark and cold and damp

God is NOT the cause of those things!!

Those things are automatically there
due to sin being in the world

When the sun is on one side of the earth
God doesn't have to supernaturally
make the other side dark-

It's automatic!!

and likewise;

God does not have to force anyone to sin

It's automatic!!
It is our "nature"
to be sinning machines
with masses of sin within us

Let's go deeper

James 2:10
For whosoever shall keep the whole law,
and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all

The above doesn't say
if you broke one of these laws
that you have broke them all-

but that you are guilty of all

This is why we really need to deeply repent always!!

Remember Christ came to magnify the law
and thus made the Law a much higher and Spiritual law

Committing adultery is sin-

yet Christ taught a much higher spiritual message
that even thought of committing adultery was sin

Think for a minute-
of a sin that you consider
to be one of the most dispicable of sins

When that person committed that sin;
was he not also guilty of ALL the law?

I didn't say he broke ALL the other laws
but that he is indeed guilty of ALL

Likewise if you break one of these laws
you also would be guilty of ALL

I didn't say you would ever commit the
same dispicable sin you thought about-

but that even in the sin you did commit
you are just as guilty of ALL
including the one you judged as so dispicable!!

Rom 2:1
Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man,
whosoever thou art that judgest:
for wherein thou judgest another,
thou condemnest thyself;
for thou that judgest doest the same things

Rom 2:3
And thinkest thou this, O man,
that judgest them which do such things,
and doest the same, that thou shalt
escape the judgment of God?

This is how serious sin is to God!!

We may haven't literally committed the dispicable sin
but any sin we do commit accounts us
just as guilty of any and ALL sins that are possible

God makes vessles of honor and dishonor
Most of us were blessed by God-

being made NOT to travel down
such a dark alley of dispicable sin

May we stop judging the sins of others
and spend more time repenting for our own
